On World Water Day, Soške elektrarne Nova Gorica d.o.o. and the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica-Gorizia present the joint project "Soča Power Charge".
As part of the GO! 2025 official programme, we are planning a modern museum installation focusing on the theme of energy and renewable resources along the Soča River, one of the best-preserved rivers in the Alpine world. This installation will be launched at the Doblar Hydroelectric Power Plant.
During our visit to this 85-year-old power plant, we observed its rich technical heritage and the pride it takes in its continued mission of providing quality and reliability in energy production.
