The exhibition Parallel Drafts of History – A Century in Slovene and Italian Newspapers examines how history has been represented, interpreted, and visually framed in Slovene and Italian media over the past hundred years. It highlights how editorial choices — shaped by political contexts, societal changes, and journalistic traditions — influence the way key events are narrated and understood by the public.
Created by Ali Žerdin (Museum of the Press), the exhibition investigates how headlines, layouts, and editorial perspectives construct different historical narratives, offering insight into the role newspapers play in shaping collective memory.
The opening will take place on Thursday, 27 November 2025, at 18:00, at the EPIC Gallery, Kolodvorska pot 10, Nova Gorica.
