Libri e Autori 2026

From July to August 2026, the historic Velarium at Grado's GIT Beach will host the new edition of "Books and Authors Under the Umbrella," the renowned summer literary festival blending reading pleasure with coastal tourism. The events, completely free of charge, commence at 6:00 PM, providing direct engagement with leading contemporary novelists and essayists.

Organized in institutional synergy with the Municipality of Grado and Grado Impianti Turistici, this initiative solidifies its status as a strategic cornerstone of the lagoon resort's summer cultural planning.

This year's lineup features a comprehensive schedule of bilingual presentations and interdisciplinary panels encompassing historical fiction, crime thrillers, geopolitical analysis, and investigative journalism.

The festival welcomes highly acclaimed national and international writers, with sessions broadcasted via live streaming to engage an expanded, global audience.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the institutional continuity of the lectures will be ensured by relocating the presentations to the spaces of the Grand Hotel Astoria, preserving the cultural and community value of the event.
