Crossroads GO! 2025 Special Edition: Places of Worship in Gorizia
Guided tours, historic trains, and unique excursions to discover Gorizia and Nova Gorica. On August 23 and 30, explore the city’s places of worship and history.
From May 2025 to January 2026, the City of Gorizia presents the third edition of its cultural-tourism programme, featuring 45 events including guided tours, historic train rides, local food experiences, and excursions throughout Gorizia and Nova Gorica.
Two special themed walking tours will focus on the city’s diverse places of worship:
- On August 23, explore Jewish, Protestant, Catholic Counter-Reformation, Methodist, Waldensian, Muslim, and Serbian Orthodox sites.
- On August 30, discover Catholic landmarks including the Church of the Sacred Heart, Jesuit sites, and other historic churches.
Tours will be offered in Italian and Slovenian.
