Yesterday morning, the GO! 2025 team welcomed the delegation from Maribor Tourist Board for a day of cross-border exchange and inspiration in Nova Gorica and Gorizia.
The delegation from Maribor, the first Slovenian city to obtain the European Capital of Culture title, first joined us in our Communications Office in the centre of Nova Gorica. Thanks to the presentations by Erika Lojk from Nova Gorica and Vipava Valley Tourist Board, our Andreja Repič Agrež and Jure Struc from Maribor Tourist Board, we all learned something new, especially how to promote culture and tourism.
After the introduction at the GO! 2025 Communications Office, the group explored the Shining Invisible City exhibition from our official programme, Europe Square, the symbol of our borderless capital, the emerging EPICentre (with Mediterranea 20 Biennale) and EPIC district.
We were delighted to host our Maribor colleagues and we are looking forward to future collaboration—sharing experience and best practices is a key for success!
