Goriški pihalni orkester (Gorizia Wind Orchestra), in collaboration with its partner Casa delle Arti, is launching an open competition for the anthem of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica-Gorizia, specifically for a musical orchestra. The cross-border orchestra will support ECoC GO! 2025 with a cultural programme and, most importantly, ensure the proper performance at events and receptions. The anthem will be a significant part of the cultural heritage of the ECoC GO! 2025 area and will enhance the visibility of the European Capital of Culture.
The call is part of the GO(d)BA 2025 project (Nova Gorica and Gorizia cross-border orchestra), funded by the European Union through the GO! 2025 Small Project Fund of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 programme, managed by the EGTC GO.
