The Lagoon Nativity of Grado will be inaugurated on 20 December 2025 at the Public Gardens in Gorizia, as part of the traditional Dicembre Goriziano.

After being displayed in St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican, the Lagoon Nativity of Grado arrives in Gorizia in honour of GO! 2025. Faithfully depicting the life of the casoneri, the installation measures 14 x 30 metres, with a 350-square-metre base containing 30 cubic metres of water. A reed hut hosts the Nativity with around 20 detailed figures engaged in everyday activities, while the lagoon environment is recreated in a lively, almost moving scene. The installation will be at the Public Gardens from Saturday 20 December, with the inauguration at 17:00, on display for a month as part of the traditional Dicembre Goriziano.
