A Tribute to the Pink – Painting Workshop

As part of the Giro d’Italia cycling race passing through Goriška Brda.

The passage of the Giro d’Italia through the picturesque landscape of Goriška Brda becomes an opportunity to celebrate not only sport, but also art and place. This is how Colour in Escape is born – a painting workshop dedicated to the iconic Maglia Rosa (Pink Jersey), a symbol of excellence, endurance, and beauty in cycling.

The creative journey will focus on the pink color as the result of color exploration – a color that can be achieved by mixing shades such as red and white, or with the addition of purple. At the same time, the artistic theme remains open: every participant will be free to express their own vision and creativity.

Color is not merely a decorative choice – it becomes a language of expression and a symbolic bearer: a tribute to the Pink Jersey, its history, and the significance it holds.

The initiative aims to involve the local community, the Dablo Art Association, and art enthusiasts, combining athletic and artistic expression in a unique landscape where hills, vineyards, and light become part of the experience. The pink of the Giro thus intertwines with the colors of nature and the hands of artists in a shared moment of creation.
