Eco-Printing Basic Course

Eco-Printing Basic Course

Botanical printing course: turn flowers and leaves into unique artworks on fabric.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, 25 October, from 9:00AM to 1:00PM at SMO for a unique introductory course, where you will learn how to transform simple leaves into true works of art on fabric with Alessandra and Sara. What will we do together? This practical course is designed for anyone who wants to learn about the fascinating world of plant printing. We will start with a walk to collect leaves and flowers, learning to recognise which plants leave the most beautiful prints. Then, we will return to the workshop for the most exciting part: printing on two different types of fabric. You will see how nature leaves a unique imprint on each material, creating ever-changing shades and patterns. Alessandra and Sara will guide you step by step through all stages of the process, from preparing the fabric to baking it on site to set the colours permanently. What to bring? A basket or bag to collect leaves. – A pair of scissors. – A notebook and pen to write down all the secrets you will learn. Cost: €30 per person The workshop will run with a minimum of 7 participants – registration is required.   More informations: Phone: (+39) 339 8403196 - (+39) 349 3241168 Email:
