Beyond Zero: 1914–1918 is a music and film project in which director Bill Morrison created a poignant film from archival footage of the First World War, accompanied by a string quartet composition by Aleksandra Vrebalov. In her score, the composer wove in key musical elements of the period, conveying a clear and powerful message: "No more war!".
