Individual municipalities on both sides of the border – or more precisely on both sides of the Soča river – will organise artist residencies for both international and local artists. With the help of local people, these artists will explore the territory, first familiarising themselves with its characteristics and potential materials (stone, wood, clay, etc.) and then using them to create works of art inspired by the area. The final result will be 6 to 8 sculptures placed in carefully selected spaces in different municipalities on both sides of the border.
