Bordering Affinities. Architectural Languages between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia

The exhibition explores the dialogue between two worlds through architecture, a symbol of the identity, political and economic ambitions of communities throughout history.

The exhibition was born from the idea of creating a dialogue between two worlds that have not traveled the same paths in the last century and a half. The instrument through which it was decided to build this relationship is architecture. In particular, the iconic one, that is, the one that is able to document the identity, political and economic ambitions of different communities over time. Architectures that have had a symbolic relevance for their territories, or those that function as litmus tests to record trends, openings, influences, even moods at various moments in history.
