Artists and artisans in the Natisone Valleys: Guided tour of the willow grove

On Saturday, 16 November, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, a guided tour of artist Luisella Goria's willow grove will be held in Tarcetta di Pulfero.After completing her studies, Luisella deepened her knowledge of hand weaving and chose to produce most of the material she uses herself, cultivating a willow grove with dozens of different varieties in terms of colour, flexibility and growth. Her basketry is innovative in its design and combination of the natural colours of the branches used, without excluding creations more closely linked to tradition. Programme: 10.00AM meeting at the Tarcetta car park, in front of the Alpini hut (Municipality of Pulfero); 10.15AM walk to the willow grove and naturalistic explanation of willow cultivation; 11.00AM visit to the workshop of artisan Luisella Goria; 12.00PM return to the car park; Snack with local products. The event will take place with a minimum of 5 people. Participants are invited to bring a pair of boots/ankle boots for the visit to the willow grove or a change of shoes. They can then change their shoes at the entrance to the artisan workshop.
