Fashionlands: Clothes Beyond Borders

Fashionlands: Clothes Beyond Borders

From 27 March 2025, ITS Arcademy presents Fashionlands: Clothes Beyond Borders, an exhibition project born from the second collaboration between fashion historian Olivier Saillard and philosopher Emanuele Coccia after The Many Lives of a Dress, currently underway at Italy's first contemporary fashion museum. On show are 23 works by emerging designers from the ITS Arcademy collection, and images that tell the story of the everyday wardrobe. On the opposite side, the photographs by Gabriele Rosati reveal the strength of everyday clothing through simple, timeless pieces like white shirts and jeans. Rosati creates an "archaeology of the ordinary," offering a contrast to the more visionary creations in the exhibition. Works on exhibition: Mert Serbest (Turchia), Mata Durikovic (Slovacchia), Tatjana Haupt (Germania), Yudai & Anna Tanaka (Giappone), Eva Heugenhauser (Austria), Asato Kitamura (Giappone), Adam Elyassè (Regno Unito), Mohammed El Marnissi (Belgio), Olivia Rubens (Canada), Eda Sriprom (Thailandia), Flora Miranda (Austria), Rafael Kouto (Svizzera), Sara Michal Workeneh (Israele), Jimin Kim (Corea del Sud), Ek Thongprasert (Thailandia), Triinu Pungits (Estonia), Tomohiro Shibuki (Giappone), Justin Smith (Regno Unito), Ruby Mellish (Regno Unito), Clara Chu (Cina), Bingqing Yi (Cina), Anna Gammelgaard (Danimarca), Corrina Goutos (Stati Uniti).
