The "Al Vecchio Gelso" agritourism, three daisies, surrounded by pristine vineyards and hills in the valley of Prepotto in the Eastern Hills of Friuli, provides a focal point for an holiday dedicated to wellness and relaxation. The location of the farm allows a variety of activities in direct contact with nature, from walking tours in the vineyards to cycling tours (bicycle available in the farm). The nearby Romagno Wood offers beautiful trails (on foot or mountain bike) in a natural surroundings where the native fauna and flora wonderfully find their most charming expression. Just seven kilometres away, is Cividale del Friuli, the center of great Longobard art and UNESCO heritage. And just twenty km away, you can visit the historic star-shaped city of Palmanova. With only one hour's drive, you can reach the region's resorts, Grado and Lignano, or the magnificent mountain scenery of Sappada and Tarvisio.
The farm offers accommodation in charming rustic-style rooms, created from a recently renovated barn, offers a restaurant service that is open to everyone from Thursday to Sunday. The kitchen offers delicious menu using typical ingredients of the area and based on traditional recipes from Friuli. Dishes like Muset and Brovada, Salame with vinegar, herb omelettes, or homemade dumplings and noodles, are the cornerstones of the served dishes. The pride of the farm is meat, in particular stuffed guinea- fowl, roll of goose, duck or turkey. The proposed menus also skillfully blend with the seasonal produce available. Frico, for example, can be presented in the traditional way, with potatoes, but also can be proposed with leek, herbs or sausage, according to the seasonality of ingredients. The parade of delicacies include obviously desserts, from traditional apple strudel or Gubana, to classic and timeless Panna Cotta, strictly homemade. Alongside the food the excellent DOC wines produced by the Stanig winemakers, who are also the owners of the agritourism. Finally and also of note, is the opportunity of partecipating in characteristic theme dinners, held on special occasions (such as the "Dinner with the winemaker" which takes place during Cantine Aperte initiative in May, or "St. Martin in the Cellar" in November), where food is skilfully married to the wines in a perfect blend of aromas and flavors.

The agritourism's rooms are a wonderful synopsis of tradition and modernity. The accomodation, named after typical Friulian wines (Friulano, Sauvignon, Pinot, Schioppettino di Prepotto, Merlot and Cabernet), are furnished with care and attention in a rustic style and are equipped with every comforts (private bathroom, mini bar, air conditioning and satellite TV). Hospitality is completed with the gentle awakening by nature’s sounds and colors. The buffet breakfast offers sweet and savory alternatives of local products and, during the summer period, may be pleasantly enjoyed on the porch, next to the garden.
