The installation Golobčki v slepih kotih by acclaimed artist Maruša Sagadin is on view at EPIC Café in Nova Gorica from October 10 to December 10, 2025.
The exhibition includes three spatially expressive works:
– Golobček (Trebušček)
– Golobček (Nosovi)
– Slaba šala
All works are made from a combination of cardboard, wood, spackle, acrylic resin, pigments, and metal.
The pieces were created in 2023 in collaboration with Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, with rights held by Christine König Galerie. The installation at the EPIC Center is part of the cultural programme leading up to GO! 2025 – European Capital of Culture.
Maruša Sagadin works at the intersection of sculpture, architecture, and language. Her works are marked by playfulness, vibrant colours, and a subtle critique of social space. Using everyday materials and humorous forms, she creates spatial interventions that invite viewers to reflect on the relationship between art, space, and society.
