Palace Provveditori veneti, Gradisca d'Isonzo, November 26th-29th 2025
As part of the activities of GO! 2025 – European Capital of Culture , a group of cross-border artists will participate from November 26 to 29 in the Gran Premio Noè 2025 , the historic event dedicated to wine and culture that celebrates its sixtieth anniversary this year. The Municipality of Gradisca d'Isonzo and the EGTC GO are collaborating to bring back to the center of the event not only the local winemaking tradition, but also its cultural identity, offering artists a meeting space in a symbolic location such as the Palazzo dei Provveditori Veneti , a historic building constructed at the end of the 15th century and long the seat of the Venetian government .
The inauguration of the group exhibition will be held tomorrow, November 26th, at 6:00 PM , with free admission, during the official opening evening of the Noè Prize. The ceremony will be introduced by greetings from Mayor Alessandro Pagotto, followed by a speech by Stefano Cosma on the history of the Noè Prize statuette and the work of its creator, Adriano Visintin. This will be followed by the opening of the exhibition of cross-border artists, accompanied by a toast hosted by AIS FVG.
The exhibition brings together artists from Slovenia, Italy, and other countries (but residing in the cross-border area) , who have been involved in the GO! 2025 cultural program for months. This group has worked all year to give voice to the local creative community and strengthen collaboration between the two cities , discussing ideas, needs, and proposals to improve the shared artistic journey. The works on display in Gradisca (at Via Cesare Battisti 30 – until Saturday, November 29) range from painting to installations, from sound experiments to digital and poetic interventions: a diverse ensemble that invites you to stop and observe, enhancing the cultural plurality of an area that has always thrived on exchange and contamination.
Exhibiting: María Sánchez Puyade; Sun Hee Moon; Pateletso Mokgotle; Saša Nemec; Tamara Mihalič; Giorgio Bottò; Cristina Suligoi; Olga Danelone; Antonina Dragan; Shanti Sergi Sergas; Andrea Verzegnassi; Daniele Meucci; Pier Toffoletti; Moreno Biasi; Guglielmo Donzella; Liviana Nicoli; Diego Valentinuzzi. The welcoming and relaxed atmosphere of the group exhibition also connects contemporary creativity with the most prestigious local wine productions: an encounter between art and wine that reflects the same attention to materials, territory, and the search for authenticity that has characterized the Noè Prize for sixty years.
