A kaleidoscope of sneakers – from Chemnitz to Nova Gorica and Gorizia

Yesterday, EPICenter hosted a workshop entitled "Kaleidoscope of Sneakers", where young people from both sides of the border designed their own versions of sneakers inspired by the cross-border story of Nova Gorica and Gorizia. Workshop leader Alexander Hermmann has already brought this youth art project to many cities; the vibrant collection of thirteen sneakers will be exhibited in Germany next year. The project was created as part of the European Capital of Culture in Chemnitz.

The young creators were also addressed by the mayors of both cities, Samo Turel and Rodolfo Ziberna.
