“The Flute: Virtuosity and Bel Canto”

A chamber music concert featuring flautists Claudi Arimany and Eduard Sánchez alongside pianist Daniel Ligorio. The programme celebrates flute virtuosity and the bel canto tradition through works by Mendelssohn, Mozart, Rossini, Doppler and other renowned composers.

On Sunday, 21 June 2026 at 6:00 PM, Palazzo Lantieri in Gorizia will host “Flauto, Virtuosismo e Belcanto”, featuring internationally acclaimed flautists Claudi Arimany and Eduard Sánchez, accompanied by pianist Daniel Ligorio.

The programme offers an elegant journey through Romantic and bel canto repertoire, presenting works and arrangements by Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Lachner, Friedrich Kuhlau, Franz Doppler, Gioachino Rossini, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Giuseppe Verdi. Highlights include Herbstlied, Trio concertante Op. 119, Ungarischer Hirtengesang, La Serenata, Duettino, the celebrated Three Arias from The Magic Flute and the Fantasy and Variations on Rigoletto.

The concert will showcase the virtuosity and artistic excellence of three distinguished performers and conclude with a wine reception featuring wines from Friuli Venezia Giulia.
