Imaginary Hospitality

From a cross-border performance to an album release.

Our imaginaries of hospitality have been changing ever since people were moving place, migrating – meeting, welcoming and leaving each other. A famous Sanskrit verse equals “guest” to “God”. Welcome to deep-listen into the album of opinions and feelings by citizens from ten countries around the world, present on the spot.

  • 18:00 Cross-border performance by an anonymous black migrant para-artist body at Europe Square, Nova Gorica.
  • 18:38 Welcoming the train from Jesenice with bread and salt, track 2 of the Nova Gorica railway station.
  • 19:00  Deep listening session at the premiere of six tracks of the album "IMAGINARY:HOSPITALITY::ATITHI:DEVA" (A.Khadka, p.Purg) in the guest room of the Bordo bar, Nova Gorica railway station.

Guests receive a USB wristband with an electronic music album.
The event will mark the closing of the 2023 PostMobility program within the European Capital of Culture GO! 2025.
