Gusti Di Frontiera 2026

Gusti Di Frontiera 2026

Gusti di Frontiera is the largest food and wine festival in the Tri-Veneto region, transforming the center of Gorizia into a global map of flavors and cultures. The event offers a unique sensory journey through hundreds of stands divided into geographic and thematic villages.

Every autumn, the city of Gorizia confirms its status as a capital of hospitality and cross-border dialogue, hosting over 300 stands from dozens of countries. Along a route through the city's various "Borghi," visitors can sample traditional culinary specialties, ethnic dishes, and regional specialties.

In addition to the gastronomic offerings, the event also features live music, traveling shows, and opportunities for cultural exploration.

The initiative celebrates coexistence between peoples by promoting food culture as a bridge of unity and mutual understanding.

From September 24th to 27th, the historic center of Gorizia will host the 21st edition of the most important food and wine event in the Tri-Veneto region and throughout northern Italy.

Seventeen villages will enliven the city with approximately 300 stands from around the world, five continents, and at least 50 different countries. The stands will be distributed along the traditional route through the city center, maintaining the now recognizable layout that has made the event so successful over the years. The new map confirms the grand gastronomic itinerary that will accompany visitors through the various themed villages, once again transforming Gorizia into a true journey through cultures, traditions, and flavors.

The 17 Villages will accompany the public on an authentic journey through the flavors of the planet between the excellences of the Borgo Friuli Venezia Giulia and the great Borgo Italia , where the regional traditions of the peninsula will be the protagonists.
The extensive space dedicated to Europe has been consolidated with Borgo Austria, Borgo Francia, Borgo Europa Centrale, Borgo Slovenia e Penisola Balcanica, and Borgo Nord Europa, each dedicated to the gastronomic specialties that have made these regions famous: from the great Central European dishes to Spanish tapas, from Balkan cuisines to Nordic recipes, passing through the flavors of French tradition.
The journey will continue towards other continents with Borgo Latino and Borgo Americhe , among grilled meats, Tex-Mex specialties, churrasco and South American cuisine, with Borgo Oriente, where the protagonists will be sushi, ramen, curry, steamed ravioli, wok and the aromas of Asian spices, and with the return of two of the most evocative spaces of the event: Borgo Africa, which will bring the colors and aromas of the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa to the heart of Gorizia with couscous, tajine and traditional recipes, and Borgo Australia, also dedicated to the offerings of Oceania and its most characteristic flavors.
The Borgo Mare route will be completed, with the best seafood specialties, by the Food Truck, dedicated to contemporary street food, the Mercatino di Gusti, reserved for typical products and food crafts, and the Borgo Associazioni , a space for Pro Loco and local organizations that, once again this year, will contribute to enriching the mosaic of the event.
