Gusti di Frontiera 2025

Gusti di Frontiera is the largest food and wine festival in the Triveneto region. This year, on the occasion of the European capital of culture GO! 2025, it's expanding to the borderless Transalpina/Europe Square for the first time with Borderless Tastes!

In detail, there will be 400 stands from 50 countries gathered, as per tradition, in 17 villages distributed throughout the city center:

There's also room for artisans, amateur hobbyists, third sector associations, organizations and institutions, protection and promotion consortia, and street artists. Markets will be present in the side street of Corso Italia, in front of the former Province Building.

A world map of flavors, aromas, and colors.

Hundreds of food and wine stands distributed among geographical villages and thematic routes scattered around the city centre and in borderless Transalpina/Europe square.

There will be 400 stands in 17 villages:

Gusti in Piazza (Sant'Antonio Square), the starting point for an irresistible gastronomic journey through traditions, cultures and flavours from around the world.
Borgo Friuli Venezia Giulia (Piazza Cavour and Via Marconi) - regional specialties and offerings from local associations (Via Crispi)
Borgo Italia (Corso Italia and Corso Verdi) - Italian specialties
Latin American District (Town Hall Square and Via Boccaccio)
Borgo Austria (Battisti Square)
Borgo Francia (Corso Verdi)
Borgo Europa Centrale (via Roma), with the traditions of Slovenia and the Balkans
Borgo Nord Europa (Piazza della Vittoria), which also hosts the PromoTurismoFVG stand
Borgo Truck Food (via Oberdan and via Petrarca) - food on the road
Area dedicated to vegetarian and vegan cuisine (Corso Verdi)
Cuisine from Africa, Australia, and the Orient (new area in the Via Boccaccio parking lot)
Borgo Americhe (via Cadorna)
Taste Market with typical and artisanal products (Via Rismondo)
Salotto del Gusto, a showcase of local and cross-border excellence

It will be precisely the profoundly cross-border soul of the city of Gorizia that will shine in the special edition celebrating Nova Gorica and Gorizia as European Capital of Culture.

For the first time, the event will take place in the evocative Transalpina/Europe Square, an authentic symbol of unity and sharing between two cities and two peoples.

In this setting steeped in history and meaning, Borderless Tastes will come to life, a boundless food and wine village designed to best embody the borderless spirit of the event.

The fun will continue in the evenings with the Borderless party.
