A literary event dedicated to poet, Slavist and orchardist Zoran Božič.

Zoran Božič moved from Kranj to the Goriška region as a young researcher. Here, he focused on reforming the school system, fought for the importance of the Slovenian language in Yugoslavian educational institutions and was politically active on a local and national scale. Shortly after Slovenia gained its independence, he swapped politics for science; he got his pHD with a thesis on the poetry of France Prešeren, began working at the University of Nova Gorica and gave nationwide lectures on literary didactics.

The event held in his honour will include a guided tour of the orchard.
