3rd CITIZEN SCIENCE DAY

3rd CITIZEN SCIENCE DAY

"Discover, collaborate, explore: From practice to people"

The event will showcase inspiring slovenian and foreign citizen science projects that serve as examples of successful citizen involvement in research processes. Participants will learn about the handbook Citizen Science in 5 Steps, which offers practical guidelines for planning and implementing such projects. We will also present the work and plans of the Citizen Science Network—a community of more than 60 partners with over 60 active projects that successfully connects researchers, organizations, and individuals throughout Slovenia. In the afternoon, there will also be stands in the library where participants can learn more about the projects and find out how they can get involved themselves.

This year’s event is themed "Discover, Participate, Explore: From Practice to People", so we have prepared three interactive workshops for the end of the event, aimed at participants of all generations – from the youngest to the oldest.

You are cordially invited to join us and discover the rich potential of citizen science and co-create the future of research in Slovenia.

Participation in the event is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
