Pickled Olive Festival
You are cordially invited to the Pickled Olive Festival in Zalošče, where knowledge, tradition, and the taste of the Vipava Valley come together.
Programme:
14:00 – 18:00 : Evaluation of olive samples (committee led by Dr. Milena Bučar Miklavčič) – internal expert part
19:00 : Start of the program for the general public : short cultural program, award ceremony and announcement of the Champion
20:00 : Exhibition opening with tasting of judged samples
Evening : gastronomic part with local delicacies – sliced prosciutto, homemade cheeses, meatballs, pickled beans with boiled eggs…
Music : ethno performance by Peter della Bianca from Bovec
