Special edition: European Capital of Culture 2025.

This year’s program includes the following events:

Thursday, 26 June
"From Aquileia to Gorizia: The Treasure of the Archdiocese": a journey through centuries of history, exploring hidden treasures displayed at the Santa Chiara Museum. Curators Marino Degrassi and Alessio Persic guide participants through encounters with Emperor Henry IV, Pope Benedict XIV, and the historic border between the Habsburg Empire and the Republic of Venice.

Friday, 4 July
"Europe, Cultures in Dialogue": a discussion led by Roberto Antonione on overcoming borders to become European Capital of Culture.

Thursday, 10 July
"Nothing to Declare": Roberto Covaz presents stories from his book about men and women from Gorizia and Nova Gorica, highlighting 75 years of dialogue and shared history.

Wednesday, 16 July
"Crossing Borders along the Isonzo": a lively theatrical performance featuring anecdotes from a complex historical period, performed by Giorgio Amodeo and Franco Koresec, accompanied by accordionist Alexander Ipavec.

Free admission.
In case of bad weather, events will be held at the parish’s Sala Incontro.
