The hike From Bovec to Resia crosses the Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve. 12.2 km, 7 hours of walking and stunning views linking the two valleys.
Join us on the hike From Bovec to Resia. This is a connecting trail between Bovec and Resia, leading across the cross-border Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve. From station B of the Kanin cable car, the trail mostly follows an Italian mule track over Skutnik (Monte Guarda) to the Kot (Coot) mountain pasture. The total length of the route is 12.2 km. DURATION & DIFFICULTY: 7 hours of hiking to Planina Kot, T3 (moderate) MEETING POINT: Kanin cable car station B at 8:00 EQUIPMENT: Hiking boots and poles, appropriate clothing, packed lunch PRICE: Free of charge Mandatory prior registration due to transport arrangements, no later than Friday, 19 August 2025, by 6:00 PM.
