Gorithia Digital History Festival: November 6–9

Gorithia Digital History Festival: November 6–9

The Gorithia Digital History Festival returns from November 6th to 9th, a series of events promoted and organized by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia, dedicated to discovering and promoting the history of Gorizia and its surrounding area.

A unique journey through time that unites past and future thanks to an immersive, engaging digital approach, making historical memory a living, accessible, and shared experience. Following the success of the previous editions in March and June, the third edition of the Festival, scheduled for November, offers a journey dedicated to two key periods in the city's history: the Modern Age and the 20th century. Through workshops, meetings, demonstrations, reenactments, and interactive tours, the public will explore the events, people, and places that have shaped the cultural identity of Gorizia and its surrounding area. The Gorithia Digital History Festival is not only an opportunity to learn about history, but also to experience it firsthand, thanks to experiences that bring together historical research with new technologies, dissemination with creativity, and memory with innovation.
