A journey through the city's 18th and 19th-century musical heritage, spanning Italy and Central Europe.
The concert scheduled for October 24th at 8:30 pm at the Ridotto del Teatro Verdi in Gorizia offers a journey through the city's 18th and 19th-century musical heritage, spanning Italy and Central Europe.
The program features composers such as Amandus Ivančič, Giuseppe Tartini, and Ignazio Gobbi, a student of Tartini, who testify to the openness of the Gorizia repertoire to the most innovative currents of the time.
The performance is entrusted to the Cenacolo Musicale ensemble, under the direction of Donatella Busetto, with Tartinian specialist Tommaso Luison as solo violinist, who restores the vitality and expressive richness of a cosmopolitan repertoire.
The concert is part of the celebrations of Nova Gorica - Gorizia European Capital of Culture , offering a unique opportunity to rediscover the city as a musical crossroads between Italian tradition and Central European influences.
