Presentation of the artwork of the month and the fifth chapter of the Episkop.

On Wednesday, 7 May 2025, Knjigarna kavarna Maks will host the presentation of the Artwork of the Month and the fifth chapter of the Episkop project.

Art historian Klavdija Figelj will present the artwork of the month in conversation with the artist. Petra Svoljšak will begin by presenting the contents of the fifth chapter of the Episkop, entitled War and Peace.

The artwork of the month, an untitled painting from the 1990s, will serve as the starting point of the conversation, which curator Klavdija Figelj will lead with painter Miran Cencič. The painting depicts a rift, alluding to the devastation left behind by war. War and peace are also the subject of the fifth chapter of the Episkop. Historian Petra Svoljšak will present its content and outline the events taking place in May.
