Invisible women

Photographic installation in public space, Nova Gorica

We invite you to the opening of the Invisible Women exhibition on 9 December 2025 at 6PM (Communication office, GO! 2025, Delpinova 20), part of the official programme of GO! 2025 – European Capital of Culture Nova Gorica – Gorica. Through the artistic lenses of photographers Erin McKinney and Dominique Pozzo, and curated by renowned photographer Monika Bulaj, the exhibition presents the realities and often-unseen experiences of women from around the world who have made the Goriška and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions their new homes, bringing with them significant cultural diversity. Their captured moments address questions of identity, belonging and contribution to the community, offering a multilayered portrait of regions shaped by ongoing change.
