Gotropolis 2025: Gal Furlan—sound bath during the full moon and eclipse (Sveta Gora)

Gal Furlan has been creating music for over 20 years, mainly with drums and percussion instruments. Gal's sound baths vary, but he always sticks to the concept or "path" of a broad spectrum of frequencies that have a beneficial effect on psychophysical well-being. A sound bath or meditative relaxation technique using sound lead to a better state of well-being—balance. The more balanced we are, the more our body and mind strive for psychophysical health. During a sound bath, positive changes occur on a physical, mental, and spiritual level, as the vibrations induce not only alpha waves, but also theta waves, or brain waves, which hold the key to self-healing.

Our body is 70% "water"—the vibrations emitted by gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments are very strong, and the fluid in our body reacts to their sound, which can also be physically felt during a sound bath. This very present vibration stimulates the cells in our body to function better and consequently also improves our mental well-being. The sky will provide the performative spectacle at this event. The sound bath will begin at the end of the total lunar eclipse, and the sounds will accompany the celestial spectacle as the full moon emerges from the Earth's shadow.
