Gotropolis 2025: Dance of the Street—tango workshop with stories

Tango workshop entitled Dance of the Street originates in the poor neighborhoods near the mouth of the Rio de la Plata in a port city, a home to an unusual mix of immigrants who came from many different cultures and countries in search of a better life at the end of the 19th century. The dance, which soon developed into tango, arose spontaneously and became an integral part of street life

 We too are moving to the streets, where we will hold a tango workshop.

No previous knowledge is required. The workshop will be led by dance therapist Maja Dvoršek.
