MULTICULINGO Festival – for all lovers of foreign languages and cultures November 5–8, 2025 / France Bevk Library, Nova Gorica

The MULTICULINGO Festival 2025 is a celebration of multilingualism, art, and intercultural dialogue that brings together people from different backgrounds, languages, and cultures. This year, the festival will take place between November 5 and 8, 2025, under the central theme of "Multicultural Bridges," which aims to highlight the importance of cooperation, understanding, and openness in modern society. The opening of the festival will take place on November 5 at 17:00.

Omar Ndior Omar Ndior comes from Senegal and has been living in Slovenia (on the coast) for almost a decade, where he has found his second home. His outlook on life combines African warmth with Slovenian calmness. Deiby Alexander Palacios Mosquera (Flow Kaly) Deiby Deiby Alexander Palacios Mosquera is a 25-year-old artist from Colombia who has been living in Slovenia for eight years. With his charisma, humor, and positive energy, he has become one of the most recognizable faces on the social network TikTok under the name Flow Kaly.

Klavdij Sluban Klavdij Sluban is a French photographer of Slovenian descent, known for his distinctly poetic black-and-white photographs that explore boundaries, identity, and the human inner landscape. He has received numerous awards for his work and exhibits in the world's most prestigious galleries.

Sanda Škoro Sanda Škoro is an international coach and lecturer who draws inspiration from her personal experience of multilingualism to build bridges between people and cultures.

    Guest: poet, writer, journalist, and translator Ismet Bekrić

Ismet Bekrić Ismet Bekrić is an award-winning poet, writer, journalist, and translator who connects the worlds of languages and cultures in his work. Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he has been living and working in Ilirska Bistrica for three decades. His books have been translated into numerous languages.

Douten Taiko Douten Taiko is Slovenia's first Japanese drumming group, which has been combining rhythm, energy, and tradition in its performances for over a decade. Their music bridges cultures and touches the hearts of audiences.

Tamara Miljavec As a language expert and educator, Tamara Miljavec inspires students of all ages. Her work enriches language education and encourages curiosity and a love of languages, as language skills open doors to understanding, connection, and intercultural dialogue.

    Creative workshop for children Building multicultural bridges
    Led by: Suzana Senica

Suzana Senica Suzana Senica is an academic painter with extensive experience in various fields of artistic creation, ranging from face painting to balloon art. She is part of the collective at the Museum of Recent History in Celje, where she creatively combines art, play, and learning.
