Grado, connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land, is an island that, wrapped around its historic centre, expresses a charming Venetian character. Today this tradition is renewed through a project that marks a new chapter: the GIT Wellness Longevity Experience, which combines thalassotherapy with the latest research on prevention and longevity, enhancing the island’s five natural elements – sea water, iodine, sand, lagoon air and sunlight – within the Sea Water Hub concept, the new identity of marine wellness in Grado.

At the heart of the Terme Marine lies thalassotherapy, which harnesses the beneficial properties of sea water to cleanse, tone and rebalance the body. Here, wellbeing begins with water: baths, aerosols, nebulisations and insufflations are combined with manual and mechanical physiotherapy treatments, while heliotherapy completes the experience with light and sea air.
