The cross-border bus line Nova Gorica–Gorizia will resume on April 1st

The cross-border bus service between Nova Gorica and Gorizia will resume on 1 April 2026. Services will be provided by Nomago d.o.o. (Slovenia) and APT Gorizia (Italy).

The line will connect the bus and railway stations of both cities approximately every 50 minutes, supporting daily commuting. It will run year-round, except for five public holidays, with reduced schedules on holidays and Sundays.

The ticket price remains €1.70. The service is funded by the Municipality of Nova Gorica and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and the costs are shared.

The reactivation strengthens cross-border integration, improves accessibility, and promotes sustainable mobility, reducing traffic and enhancing air quality.
