The Ingeborg Bachmann Dome is an artwork you can walk through, touch, and transform.
The dome is a perfect space for reflection, where we can encounter different art forms, dedicated to the Austrian writer and poet Ingeborg Bachmann. The dome was designed and built by Armin Guerino and the soundscape was created by Gerhard Fresacher and Anna Ennemoser.
Non-factual art needs space and time frames, in which we can recognise the facts that make up the world. To fill Ingeborg Bachmann's dome with music means to acoustically expand this space of thought into a space of resonance.
Events in the Ingeborg Bachmann Dome:
- 25 April 2025, opening of the Ingeborg Bachmann Dome,
- 6 May 2025, literary-dance event with Maja Haderlap and Leonie Humitsch,
- 4 June 2025, literary-dance event with Anna Baar and Andrea Schlehwein.
The dome will be on display in the railway station underpass until November 2025.
