Euradria: cross-border job opportunities

Euradria: cross-border job opportunities

A space dedicated to matching supply and demand in the fields of culture and tourism in the cross-border area

To facilitate the matching of job supply and demand, especially in the culture and tourism sectors, in the year in which Nova Gorica and Gorizia together are the European Capital of Culture, the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia is supplying a new tool to businesses and citizens: a dedicated space within the official portal of the Euradria project".

The Euradria portal (link here ) is an operational channel designed to facilitate the meeting of workers and businesses in the cross-border area, with a focus on the opportunities that will emerge during the events scheduled for GO! 2025. It is an information space that is also easily accessible from the official website of the European Capital of Culture (link here), where you can consult job offers and participate in projects dedicated to the job market. This initiative is the result of a strategic agreement between the Euradria project partnership, led by the Region, and the EGTC GO, co-organizer of GO! 2025. This strengthens cross-border cooperation, with the aim of improving labour mobility and offering qualified assistance services to both businesses and workers.

The platform is available to the unemployed, workers and businesses in the area between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia, to facilitate the meeting between job supply and demand, especially in view of the significant influx of tourists and the growing need for personnel related to the GO! 2025 events. Companies interested in publishing their offers can write to euradria@regione.fvg.it. Currently, there are approximately 12 thousand workers who cross the border every day for employment reasons, while over 300 companies already refer to Euradria's services. There are twelve infodesks active in the cross-border area, which provide support on issues such as social security, taxation, recruitment and training. An integrated system of physical and digital tools in constant growth, to the benefit of an increasingly interconnected area.

For EGTC GO, the joint project aims to promote in the long term the quality of life of artists, creatives and organizers who populate the cultural ecosystem of the area, enhancing their employment opportunities and thus contributing to retaining these precious resources in the area, with the aim of giving stability to the progress achieved with the European Capital project.
