Call for Participation in the Production of Tomi Janežič’s Performance 1976.
On Friday, 23 May 2025, the fifth performance of Tomi Janežič’s Dodecalogy 1972–1983, titled 1976, will take place at the Nova Gorica stadium. This unique event will be a tribute to the city and the stadium — one-of-a-kind and unrepeatable — featuring a wide range of participants: in addition to actors from Slovenia and abroad, there will be associations, choirs, majorettes, firefighters, and many others.
We are therefore inviting you to take part: individuals, groups, pupils and students, families, grandmothers and grandfathers, residents of both cities, Slovenians, Italians, or guests from near and far. Be part of this historic event not just as a spectator, but as an active participant in one of the scenes.
In addition to watching the performance for free with a ticket, you will contribute a small action as part of the show. The only requirement is to register by sending an email to info@dodekalogija.eu, and to attend a rehearsal in the afternoon and the final run-through the evening before.
Join us in a performance that tells the story of the stadium’s origin, the athletic meetings that welcomed athletes from across Europe, and the life of the young city growing alongside its older sister, Gorizia. Be part of something we will all remember for years to come.
