VIA PER LE STRADE. Paolo Gasparini

In Gorizia, Casa Morassi hosts a major exhibition dedicated to Paolo Gasparini, a leading figure in contemporary Latin American photography. The exhibition explores themes of roots, travel, identity, and social inequality.

From April 25 to September 27, 2026, Casa Morassi Panizzolo hosts "Via per le strade," the exhibition marking the return to Gorizia of Paolo Gasparini, a photographer born in the city and who moved to Venezuela in 1954.

The exhibition brings together three sections dedicated to cultural roots and identity, travel, and the plight of children, highlighting the artist's critical perspective on social transformation and the consumer society.

Also on display are his celebrated La pasion sacrificada (The Sacrificed Passion ), presented at the 1995 Venice Biennale, and a new, unpublished installation created using the photomural format.

The project is promoted by ERPAC FVG and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, in collaboration with CRAF.
