Rafut Park, renowned for its arboreal features and the Art Nouveau villa by architect Anton Laščak, will host the opening of the virtual sound installation Symphonic Forest / Tree Orchestra.

Rafut Park, renowned for its arboreal features and the Art Nouveau villa by architect Anton Laščak, will host the opening of the virtual sound installation Symphonic Forest / Tree Orchestra. Conceived by Markus Rindt in collaboration with the Dresdner Sinfoniker, this project is part of the official programme of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia.

Visitors can immerse themselves in an interactive sound experience using the Symfo mobile app and headphones, scanning QR codes on trees to unlock orchestral sounds. The installation offers two musical paths: a romantic one featuring Robert Schumann’s Forest Scenes arranged by Andreas Boyde, and a contemporary one with Symphonic Forest by Matej Bonin, inspired by Rafut Park.

Rafut Park is open every day from 8:00 to 20:00.
