Traditional "tombola" - Saints Peter and Paul
On Sunday, June 28th, Piazza Vittoria in Gorizia will host the centennial Giant Tombola of Saints Peter and Paul, a traditional community event dedicated to solidarity. Organized by Pro Loco Gorizia APS, all proceeds from the initiative will be charity-fundraised to promote social inclusion and defeat stereotypes surrounding disabilities.
The event will kick off in the afternoon with a rich institutional and recreational program, featuring a treasure hunt through the historic city center, dance performances, and a concert by the "Pozzuolo del Friuli" Cavalry Brigade Fanfare.
A key novelty this year is a dedicated stage showcasing live music from young local talents, followed by a closing DJ set. The traditional Tombola game, featuring a total prize pool of €2,500, is scheduled for 9:30 PM, with tickets already available for purchase across various local shops.
The initiative is officially sponsored by the Municipality of Gorizia and supported by prominent local foundations and regional disability advocacy associations.
