“The 18:03 Book” – Spring Edition 2026
The new spring edition of the literary review “Il libro delle 18.03” (“The 18:03 Book”), a well-established and recognized event in the local and cross-border cultural scene, was officially presented in Gorizia , in the cultural hall of the railway station – a symbolic place where it was born in 2008.
The series will begin on April 2nd in the station spaces, confirming its connection to a dynamic and open context, and will conclude on May 2nd in Sagrado with the traditional presentation of the Roberto Visintin Prize, a final moment dedicated to the memory of the young scholar.
Over the course of a month, the festival will be structured into a widespread calendar of events, including meetings with authors and moments of in-depth study, involving various locations in the area: in addition to the locations in Gorizia – including the Kulturni Dom, the Trgovski dom and the Mediateca – the programme will also extend to Nova Gorica , with stops at the Maks, in Mossa at Villa Codelli, at the border station of Sant'Andrea and in Cormons , in collaboration with the University of the Third Age.
Among the distinctive moments, the spring cultural outing has also been confirmed, which will take participants to Grado , with a journey through historical and archaeological heritage that will include the Museum of Underwater Archaeology of the Upper Adriatic and the main religious testimonies of the historic city.
To round out each meeting, a convivial moment with a tasting of wines from the Cerchiorosso project, an expression of the collaboration between Collio agricultural businesses and ambassadors of local excellence.
With a program consisting of thirteen events in total, the festival confirms its itinerant and inclusive vocation, capable of uniting diverse territories and communities in the name of culture and literature.
