Rudi Bučar, singer-songwriter and musician, has for two decades been blending the musical heritage of his native Istra with contemporary melodies in his original compositions in a unique and distinctive way, making a significant and original contribution to the preservation and dissemination of Istrian cultural heritage throughout Slovenia and beyond its borders, which places him in a particularly prominent position as an artist and creator.

Grazie alla sua eccezionale interpretazione vocale — non da ultimo perché ha completato i suoi studi in canto jazz e arrangiamento presso l’Università di Trieste — alla sua espressione creativa poetica, alla sua sincera dedizione e alla sua fedeltà alla tradizione, Rudi ha lasciato il segno nel panorama musicale locale, arricchendolo con diversi album pubblicati e numerose canzoni che non solo hanno vinto premi nei festival, ma continuano a far parte del suo variegato repertorio sui palchi dei concerti.
