Closing of the R.o.R residency programme: Colourful landscapes of the European Capital of Culture!
On Sunday, 29 June 2025 at 21:00, the closing event of the R.o.R residency programme with LuMenArtist (Sara Muharemi and Davor Marjanović) will take place at Dobrovo Castle. The final event of this one-month residency will unfold as a micro festival of light projections, covering Dobrovo Castle in colour and illumination.
The event will showcase paintings created by members of the Dablo Painting Association during the "Paint, Project, Bring to Life!" workshop under the mentorship of the artistic duo LuMenArtist. The duo will also contribute their own projection templates, developed throughout the month-long residency and inspired by the cultural and natural particularities of the wider Goriška region. With their combined creative forces, the artists and participants will transform the castle façade into a dynamic lightscape that speaks to visitors through the visual language of light, motion, and colour. Rhythm and melody will be provided by local musician Tomaž Lipicer, who will help create an unforgettable evening atmosphere with his intuitive sound instruments.
The event is part of the R.o.R Residency Programme, supported by GO! 2025 and included in the official programme of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia. The event partner is ZTKMŠ Brda.
