Opening of ECOC GO! 2025 – EPIC and the exhibition City on the Border
A ceremonial opening of the new EPIC centre and the exhibition City on the Border, highlighting the stories of the Gorizia borderland and marking an important milestone of ECOC GO! 2025.
You are warmly invited to the opening of the new ECOC GO! 2025 venue – EPIC – and the exhibition City on the Border, an important milestone in the European Capital of Culture Nova Gorica – Gorizia 2025.
EPIC is a new interpretative, intercultural and creative centre located in the renewed area by Europe Square. As one of the key projects of GO! 2025, it brings together educational programmes, creative events and exhibitions, offering a multifunctional hall, a gallery, a permanent exhibition, and a café with a unique atmosphere.
The permanent exhibition City on the Border, curated by Dr. Kaja Širok, presents personal and collective stories of the people of Goriška, encouraging reflection on shared heritage and identity, and inviting visitors to share their own memories of life along the border.
