Onde Mediterranee 2026

From July 7 to August 2, 2026, Gradisca d'Isonzo will host the 30th edition of Onde Mediterranee, the historic cultural and music festival dedicated this year to the memory of Giulio Regeni.

The event features a comprehensive program of literary encounters, geopolitical debates, and live concerts, establishing itself as a vital platform for cross-border dialogue and reflection.

Organized by the Euritmica Cultural Association, the festival celebrates its milestone 30th anniversary by placing the urgent themes of war, human rights, and migration at the center of public discourse through the Lettere Mediterranee lecture series.

The institutional segment comprises a series of high-level panels, documentary screenings, and book presentations featuring internationally renowned academics, journalists, and human rights advocates.

Starting July 30, the historic Arena del Castello will take center stage with the Onde Musica section, showcasing performances by prominent contemporary artists such as Ministri, Emma Nolde, Joan Thiele, and Rancore.

This initiative reaffirms its status as a cornerstone of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s summer cultural calendar, seamlessly combining deep civic engagement with excellence in contemporary performing arts.
