Neighborhood cinema in Gorizia
Kinoatelje presents the initiative "Cinema di quartiere a Gorizia" (Neighborhood Cinema in Gorizia), a series of touring screenings aimed at enhancing the local cinematic heritage and urban landscape. The event features a free-admission screening of the collective film "Nostro cine quotidiano" at the parish oratory of Piazzutta.
Promoted by Kinoatelje within the "BorGO Cinema" cluster and funded through the PNRR Borghi national grant, the project aims to revitalize the cultural offer of Gorizia's historic areas through the art of filmmaking.
The evening will spotlight the episodic film "Nostro cine quotidiano," a collaborative work shot in the summer of 2025 under the artistic direction of filmmaker Alessandro Comodin.
Five emerging international directors—Laura Samani, Ester Ivakič, Otto Lazić-Reuschel, Jan Devetak, and Francesco Sossai—have interwoven their viewpoints to deconstruct the border concept, offering a polyphonic portrait of the threshold city.
The screening is organized through an institutional synergy involving several local networks, including La Collina, Prologo, Legambiente, Kulturni dom Gorica, and with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia.
