Nature workshop for children and families “Forest – where the familiar meets the foreign”

A nature workshop for families with children aged 6 to 10, organised as part of the GOmini project.

During the workshop, participants will explore forest life and learn why forests are important habitats for a variety of plants, animals and other organisms. There will be a particular focus on distinguishing between native and non-native species, and on observing the impact of invasive species on the forest ecosystem.

Participation is free, but spaces are limited. Advance registration is required and can be completed via the online form (https://forms.gle/u2asc71YTXzFs9ZP8). The workshop will be conducted in Slovenian and Italian. We recommend wearing appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear, preferably boots.

The GOmini project is financed by the European Union through the GO! 2025 Small Project Fund of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 Programme, managed by the EGTC GO.
