MOUNTAINS WITHOUT BORDERS
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM, Coronini Cronberg Park in Gorizia will host the second edition of "Mountains Without Borders – The Music of the Landscape." The free concert will feature the Alb String Quartet in a program combining classical masterpieces and contemporary compositions.
The initiative, promoted by the Historical Association of Workers' Mutual Aid and Education Society of Pordenone APS in collaboration with the Palazzo Coronini Cronberg Foundation, celebrates cross-border cultural dialogue through the universal language of music.
The exceptional string quartet – composed of Laura Llozi, Blerta Ristani, Albana Kola and Dorina Laro – will perform a refined repertoire ranging from the famous Chrysanthemums by Giacomo Puccini in String Quartet No. 2 by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
Of particular journalistic importance will be the performance of the contemporary piece Piazza Transalpina 1906 , signed by composer Barbara Grahor Vovk in 2023.
The event represents a key date in Gorizia's cultural calendar, offering citizens a high-level artistic experience immersed in the greenery of the historic city park.
